Ok I know that it stands for Search Engine Optimisation, but when I’m asked by people not in the industry what is the best way to explain without my normal smart arse response…so when people say what does SEO stand for? what should I answer?

I don’t think I have ever seen the results so bad ever !, If Google hadn’t locked down the top 10 results, I would have thought they had done this to increase the revenues on the newly allowed gambling ads. shame on you Google

You may have some breaking SEO News or valuable information about a particular niche industry you have worked in that you would like to share. Imagine search if you will from the perspective of the end user, I say this because as an SEO you already have an inbuilt system of filtering search noise. Most outside of the realms of search engine optimisation are baffled by the millions of search results generated by the likes of Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.
Search is set to change to offer more guidance to users who simply cannot find the information they are looking for within those first 10 results. So what will the next generation of search engines look like ? Search engines need to move away from thinking profit is key and focus upon delivering intelligent results for their users.

This is the first competition I have seen so far Free Google T-Mobile G1 Android Phone Competition
Basically you tell them what phone you have at present, what you like and dislike, and you are entered into a draw for a free android phone.
I asked if I could get one for my blog … they said no but I could enter the draw and they also said that this could become a monthly thing.

Firewall Script I'm going to do a full write up on this, but I have been testing this out on a blog, that's been hacked and DDOS a few times over the last 6 months, why do people feel I want to host their Malware, why don't I just update WP time and effort I guess
Anyway I had been looking for a solution that i can install on a shared box that that I didn't have root access on.
Anyway My test is coming to an end, and I going to try and score a deal on a multiple domain license, or even try and buy a lump of the company lol
