Patrick had mentioned to me at the A4u conference that he knew the owner 6th Gear Supercar Driving Experience Simon George and the fact that Elvington Airfield in York is only 36 miles away from my home .

I don’t even know who mentioned that we should have a lads day out.. but when Simon invited me, Kieron Donoghue, Patrick Altoft, Chris Garrett, and Al Carlton for a VIP day, how could I refuse? I mean VIP.. :)

Day started well, a quick spin around the track in a Range Rover with a female instructor basically pointing out racing lines and brake points, explained when to overtake and how. To be honest while sat in the Range Rover with Lamborghini’s roaring past us, I felt like a 10 year again.

This is me being told not to mess about ;) joke, in fact the instructors actually made the day for me, they made you drive faster and faster

With the increase in high bandwidth app’s like iPlayer, YouTube and iTunes increase, I thought that the ISPs that benefited from offering cheap broadband with a free laptop and 1 years supply of beer ( last bit may have been an offering we were looking at!), then Griffin partnered with Tiscali and since then Griffins Quality of service dropped so much their business offering was just as bad as Tiscali’s home offerings

So in a recent email from our supplier Griffin, we are now informed that we need to increase of prices to customers by up to 12% and if their usage goes over 50gb a month they will have to have an extra BT line and get another adsl account ..

PlusNet recently complained that their average cost per user has tripled since the launch of the iPlayer and other leading ISPs approach the BBC for funding to off-set their increase in costs. Entanet well they aren’t bothered they offer a PAYG service? … but if the big ISP’s can’t bash out a deal Youtube in the UK may be a thing of the past ..

Ok I know that it stands for Search Engine Optimisation, but when I’m asked by people not in the industry what is the best way to explain without my normal smart arse response…so when people say what does SEO stand for? what should I answer?

I don’t think I have ever seen the results so bad ever !, If Google hadn’t locked down the top 10 results, I would have thought they had done this to increase the revenues on the newly allowed gambling ads. shame on you Google
